Ashfield is on the T2 line in the inner west. Sydney Airport is usually closer from here, but the motorways make WSI a manageable trip when your flight leaves from Western Sydney.

The drive from Ashfield to the WSI terminal at Luddenham covers about 55 km and takes around 50 min when traffic is light. Trips to WSI generally use the M4 or M5 west, then the M7 and the toll-free M12.

Getting there without a car

Rail travellers can reach St Marys on the T1 Western Line and change to the free WSI Link bus. WSI runs without a curfew, so for late-night and early-morning flights, or for anyone travelling with a group and luggage, a pre-booked transfer is the simpler option.

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport at Mascot is about 13 km from Ashfield, around 15 min off-peak. That makes Sydney Airport the closer of the two by about 42 km. When your flight leaves from WSI, we can take your group straight there.
