Potts Point to Western Sydney International

Potts Point is close to Kings Cross and the Garden Island naval base. Sydney Airport is much closer to the city, but more flights are moving to WSI, and its curfew-free schedule suits late-night and early-morning travel.

The drive from Potts Point to the WSI terminal at Luddenham covers about 64 km and takes around 1 h when traffic is light. The usual route heads west on the M4 Motorway, south on the M7 Westlink and west along the toll-free M12 Motorway to the terminal.

Getting there without a car

There is no direct train to WSI yet. Rail travellers take the T1 Western Line to St Marys and change to the free WSI Link bus. WSI runs without a curfew, so for late-night and early-morning flights, or for anyone travelling with a group and luggage, a pre-booked transfer is the simpler option.

Potts Point to Sydney Airport

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport at Mascot is about 16 km from Potts Point, around 20 min off-peak. That makes Sydney Airport the closer of the two by about 48 km. When your flight leaves from WSI, we can take your group straight there.
