Westmead airport transfers to WSI and Sydney Airport

Westmead to Western Sydney International

Westmead is home to Westmead Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Westmead. Parramatta sits roughly between Sydney's two airports, so the right choice often comes down to the airline, the flight time and the traffic.

The drive from Westmead to the WSI terminal at Luddenham covers about 38 km and takes around 35 min when traffic is light. Trips generally head west along the M4 Motorway, south on the M7 and west on the toll-free M12.

Getting there without a car

Travellers using public transport can take the T1 Western Line to St Marys and change to the free WSI Link bus. WSI runs without a curfew, so for late-night and early-morning flights, or for anyone travelling with a group and luggage, a pre-booked transfer is the simpler option.

Westmead to Sydney Airport

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport at Mascot is about 30 km from Westmead, around 30 min off-peak. That makes Sydney Airport the closer of the two by about 8 km. When your flight leaves from WSI, we can take your group straight there.
